Oh how the years have flown. Our (not so) little boy is 9 years old. With a party not planned until next weekend, we spent his actual birthday in Bath. Zac chose to head to Jikka Jikka for a breakfast of eggs benedict. Breakfast was followed by a spot of birthday shopping. For the first time Zac was chosing his own presents from his grandparents and cousins. Chosen so far are: a remote control Ferrari, DVD of Harry Potter Years 1-6, Lego Harry Potter for the WII and a remote controlled Dalek. Our present, a supped up scooter, was unfortunately delayed in delivery. All shopped out we hit the movies to watch Narnia: Voyage of the Dawntreader.
With Abbey off to a friend’s party in the late afternoon, Isy came down to entertain Zac and play the Wii. Both she and Maddy also joined us the following day for Zac’s birthday pavlova.
What a lovely day you must have had Zac. Keep that Ferrari going until we get over there because I want to have a go. You look so grown up in your Indiana Jones hat.
