Easter Bonnet Parade

I could hardly wait to keep our date this lovely Easter morning

And so a wonderful day was spent by Nathan and I first watching the Wigwam students then the Heywood classes presenting their easter bonnets - or in Zac's case his 'Egg'ruption.

The nursery students had their parade in the morning complete with a walk along the 'cat walk' and then a group performance of easter themed songs. Nathan and I then headed into town for lunch only to return for the afternoon session when it was the turn of the older children to strut their stuff. Each child took a turn on the cat walk and each class presented an easter themed song or poem. It was wonderful to watch and see the confidence they all displayed in front of an audience. The younger classes had all decorated 'bonnets' whilst year 3 and above had fashioned their own 'easter' productions complete with moving parts. Zac's volcano had a chicken seated on top of an egg which popped out the top - it was very impressive!
