On Wednesday afternoon Zac and I made the epic journey up the M4 to Heathrow to pick up Grannie and Grandad. Relying on the on-line arrivals checker we believed their flight to be coming in nearly one hour ahead of schedule so rushed off much earlier than anticipated. Having never been to Terminal 4 I was a little apprehensive of finding my way but Zac proved a capable wing man and together we made it to our destination with no concerns.
We found the arrivals gate easily only to discover that you should never trust the internet! Their flight was not due at 1615 but 1715!! Oh well, time for a coffee break. It was at this stage that we remembered Grandad's request of a welcome sign. Zac set to work decorating the only piece of paper we could find at such short notice, the coffee receipt! I am sure Grandad appreciated the amount of effort we went to.

Zac hard at work at Heathrow

Surely they would spot this sign!!
After what seemed like hours (and actually was) the moment of finally came when we spotted them.

They seem to have settled in quite well so far!!
Let the holiday commence.
