School Open Day 2nd

This Saturday Nathan and I were treated to two hours free babysitting – it was time for the school open day. After dropping all three kids off at school (Archie having had a sleep over), we literally ran off. We decided; as the weather was clear, to treat ourselves to a run around Corsham Court and through the surrounding countryside. It was all my far shorter legs (yes, don’t be shocked, they are just a tad shorter) could do to keep up with Nathan climbing stiles and traversing fields. It was a tiring but fun way to spend the morning.

We did not actually get a full two hours away as our presence had been requested for the children’s Easter Egg Hunt. Each of the students had decorated their own egg and these were then hidden around Antonia’s Garden. What followed was a frantic dash to discover their own eggs and receive a prize – Easter eggs of course!

We next spent time watching both Zac and Abbey hard at work/play enjoying the morning’s activities. Abbey headed straight to the art room whilst Zac was pleased to be in the ICT suite.

After a quick pop down the High Street for coffee it was time to collect our now weary children and head home.
