After many a false start, the Roberts family finally had a date set for their removal. Never ones to pass up the opportunity for a night out we all pitched in for a baby sitter and headed into Bath. After a pre-dinner cocktail we dined at The Firehouse and a good time was had by all.

The Gang’s All Here!
As the saying goes: “You can never have too many farewells”. Sunday evening saw us all encamped on the Roberts front path finishing off a variety of beverages that were not going to be permitted entry to Saudi. While it was G&T time for the adults, it was water fight time for the kids. Eventually nearly everyone was involved as we made the most of an actual summer’s evening.
And so the farewells continued on into the week with Isy having one final sleepover with us, and Abbey hosting the girls to a movie lunch followed by hairdressing “à la Hebe”. Zac and Angus were away for the day participating in a Bath rugby camp or I am sure they would happily have had their hair curled too.
Zac and Isy did find time to fit in one final play on the Wii before it was crunch time and we all had to finally say goodbye. With tears all around it was sad to see them drive off though I am sure they will have adventures aplenty in Saudi Arabia.
All very sad. I am sure too that they will have many adventures. Abbey I am not sure about that hair style.
